ST. PATRICK'S DAY SOCIAL - Saturday, March 15, 2025 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Lots of fun was had by veteran dancers and newbies! Some of my new beginners attended this social for the first time, and thoroughly enjoyed themselves! Quite a few dances were done to celtic music, along with the old favourites that we bring back each year close to St. Patrick's Day, just so we can dance them and get into the spirit!!
Each person was asked to create their "Leprechaun Name" from a chart of names - the last letter of your first name, and the first letter of your last name. Here are a few of the Leprechaun Names who attended: Barmy Weebit, Patches O'Wee, Clover Weebit, Mickey McCloud, Paddy O'Plucky.
Light snacks were provided, which everyone enjoyed. But the most enjoyable part of the afternoon was dancing, laughing, making new friends, and getting to know other dancers in our community.
